SHALLOW -FRY BATATA VADA/BATATA VADA/BATATA VADA USING LESS OIL/ HYGIENIC BATATA VADA

Hello Friends 
Batata vada, a mouth watering food in Maharashtra. 
You can get it easily all over the state .
Very easy availability and mouth licking taste, each and every person having this food with great joy.
I use to make VADA-PAV at home,
Making it more tasty and healthy . 
Today Iam going to share with you another new recipe with new idea,making it healthy, less oily and easy to make. 
SHALLOW FRY BATATA VADA
RECIPE 
INGREDIENTS FOR STUFFING 
5-7 BOILED POTATOES 
1TEA SPOON TURMERIC POWDER 
SALT TO TASTE 
1/2 TEASPOON MUSTARD SEEDS 
PINCH OF ASAFOETIDA (HING)
10-12 GARLIC CLOVES 
5-7 GREEN CHILIES 
(Grind Green Chillies and Garlic Coarsely,Don't make Paste)
SOME CURRY LEAVES 
CORRIANDAR LEAVES WELL CHOPPED 
ONE  TEASPOON LEMON JUICE 
OIL 

INGREDIENTS FOR BESAN BATTER
1CUP  BESAN 
SOME WATER
1/2 TSPOON TURMERIC POWDER 
SALT TO TASTE 
METHOD OF MAKING BATTER
Pour Besan into a bowl 
Add some salt and turmeric powder 
Add water gradually to make batter just like idli-batter
Keep it aside for some time so that Besan dissolved with water properly to make a fine batter. 


METHOD/ HOW TO MAKE VADA
1. Place a kadai on Gas stove. 
2. Heat 2 TB Spoon  oil.
3. Add pinch of asafoetida.
4. Add some Curry leaves 
5. Add Garlic-Chilli paste(grinded coarsely)
6.Saute for 2 minutes. 
7.Add  turmeric powder. 
8.Add mashed boiled potatoes. 
9.Add salt to taste. 
1o Add lemon juice. 
11. Mix well. 
12. Switch off gas stove. 
13. Let the mixture cool down. 
14. Add coriander leaves. 
15. Mix well. 
SO STUFFING IS READY.

NEXT STEP 

Make small balls out of it
Press it little and keep it aside.
Place Non-stick tava on the gas stove. 
Drizzle some oil on it 
Dip the balls in  batter ,And place on  the 
tava.
Shallow fry the vada ,drizzle some oil, 
Flip it 
Fry it from both the sides properly. 
Let the colour change to golden yellow  
Take it in to a plate. 
Serve with Pav and garlic chutney. 

RECIPE FOR GARLIC CHUTNEY 
Besan k ghol ko garam oil me thoda thoda roughly dots dalkar fry karo
8_10whole chilli halka roast kar le
Mixer me dono dale add salt nd grind karo
Ab isme 2garlic chile huye ko dalkar grind kare
Jyada grind nahi Karna hai
Sirf thoda sa
Ur garlic chutney is ready!
